The conference theme, “Connect. Engage. Transform.” pays homage to past, present and future ANZMAC Conferences. If you look at the eye of the logo you will notice the history and relevance of it being the 20th anniversary of ANZMAC. You will see ‘20 years’ and also the themes of all the previous ANZMAC Conferences. Connections was the theme of the very first ANZMAC Conference in 1998, and the importance of bringing people together to Connect is still as important in today’s digital world as it was then. Marketing academics and practitioners from Australia, New Zealand and the World Engage with each other and the latest research in marketing at ANZMAC. While industry practitioners and government bodies speak widely and freely of the need for engagement, the marketing discipline at the University of Adelaide has led research in this phenomenon in recent years. Finally, Transform looks to the future. Through our research we seek to transform individuals, businesses, and societies, and improve the world in which we live.
